We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Key Holder to join our retail team! Duties

• Open and close the store confidently, ensuring all security protocols are followed
• Assist customers with inquiries, product knowledge, and purchasing decisions to enhance their shopping experience
• Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control practices
• Supervise sales associates during shifts, providing guidance on sales techniques and customer service excellence
• Handle cash register operations including cashiering, POS system management, and cash handling with accuracy
• Support hiring, onboarding, training new employees, and ongoing staff development efforts
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales potential
• Oversee operational tasks such as purchasing, pricing adjustments, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and scheduling
• Enforce store policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance standards are met at all times
• Lead by example in sales management activities including promoting products and achieving sales targets

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or managerial experience within retail or similar customer-focused environments
• Strong knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and operational procedures
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Demonstrated leadership in team management with skills in training & development and employee orientation
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, pricing adjustments, budgeting, and retail math calculations
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing candidates, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control systems
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during shift management tasks
• Knowledge of grocery store or retail product knowledge is advantageous but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and organizational abilities

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
