Key Operator/ Copier Technician

About the role

Serve as the dedicated, full-time technical resource stationed directly at the client's facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, hardware diagnostics, and component replacement on assigned site devices, troubleshoot end-user connectivity issues, and manage onsite parts and consumables inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, hardware diagnostics, and component replacement (fusers, drums, rollers) on assigned site devices
• Troubleshoot end-user connectivity issues, including print drivers, network scan paths, and software integrations
• Manage onsite parts and consumables inventory to prevent supply stockouts and streamline replenishment
• Coordinate directly with the central Otus service team for major overhauls, spare part requisitions, or field escalations
• Maintain strict adherence to site-specific service level agreements (SLAs) regarding machine uptime and response times
• Act as a professional brand ambassador, delivering proactive customer service and minimizing office disruptions
• Keep site print infrastructure fully operational, calibrated, and secure at all times
• Document all maintenance logs, meter readings, and fault resolutions accurately within the client ticketing system

About you

• Vocational diploma, Associate degree, or Technical Certificate in Electronics, IT, or related fields
• 1 + years of hands-on technical experience servicing multifunction copiers (MFPs) and digital printers
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP configuration, print queues, scan-to-email/SMB setups)
• Strong interpersonal and professional customer-facing skills suitable for corporate environments
• Certification from major MFP manufacturers (e.g., Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera) is a plus
