Civil Designer

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or AutoCAD

• Associate’s or coursework in civil engineering, drafting, and/or related field

• Understanding of site development concepts including, but not limited to, grading, drainage, utilities.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Internship or school project experience in civil/site design

• Familiarity with land development permitting

• Knowledge of North Carolina site standards

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing civil engineering plans using Autodesk Civil 3D

• Support design of site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans

• Work with survey data to develop base maps and surfaces

• Modify drawings based on engineer and project manager feedback

• Organize and maintain project files and drawing sets

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams
