Northern Monkey Bar - Bolton

Northern Monkey Bar is looking for a reliable and proactive keyholder to join the team.

We’re a busy independent bar known for live events, themed nights, good music, cocktails, pizza, and a strong team atmosphere. We’re looking for someone who can help run the venue day-to-day, keep standards high, and bring good energy to the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Someone hardworking who uses initiative and can spot what needs doing without constant direction
• Comfortable leading shifts and keeping the team motivated during busy services
• Happy to get involved with events, themed nights, dress-ups, and the general Northern Monkey atmosphere
• Available to work weekends, bank holidays, and throughout December
• Flexible enough to support both the bar and kitchen when needed (pizza and loaded fries)

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the venue
• Running smooth day-to-day shifts
• Stock management and reporting to management
• Maintaining cleanliness and high service standards
• Supporting and motivating the team
• Keeping busy, proactive, and organised throughout shifts

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
