Job Summary
The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the store while ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. This position involves assisting the Store Manager in overseeing staff, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and train retail staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively to enhance satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management, including ordering and replenishing products
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment
• Perform cashier duties, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently
• Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality to foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers
• Proficient in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
• Competent in computer operation for inventory management and sales tracking
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management professionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
