Keyholder Supervisor

Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Keyholder to join our team at La Bottega Belfast.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, supporting the management team in maintaining high standards of service, presentation and organisation.

This role is suited to someone with strong hospitality experience who is comfortable taking responsibility, leading by example and ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly in the absence of management.

Duties

• Carry out opening and closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for service and securely closed at the end of each shift.
• Support the smooth running of daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Act as a point of contact for team members during shifts, providing guidance and assistance where required.
• Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive guest experience, reflecting La Bottega's approach to Italian hospitality.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Ensure company procedures, health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards are consistently followed.
• Assist with cash handling, till reconciliation and end-of-day procedures.
• Support stock management, deliveries and general organisation of the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with the management and kitchen teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient service.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving operational issues, helping maintain a positive and productive working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
• Experience as a senior waiter, shift leader or keyholder is desirable.
• Confident, professional and capable of taking responsibility when required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support colleagues across different areas of the business.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when necessary.
• An interest in Italian food, wine and hospitality is desirable.

Pay: £27,500.00-£31,000.00 per year
