Responsibilities

• Lead interactive coding and robotics lessons tailored to various age groups, ensuring activities are engaging, educational, and accessible to all students
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that promotes participation and respect
• Supervise children during activities, outdoor play, and transitions to ensure safety at all times
• Implement age-appropriate teaching strategies that support childhood development and foster curiosity in STEM subjects
• Maintain safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and emergency response readiness
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum content that aligns with youth development goals and program standards
• Facilitate youth group activities that promote teamwork, leadership skills, and social-emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as camps, tutoring, childcare, or youth programs
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide young learners effectively
• Outdoor work experience is advantageous for leading outdoor STEM activities or field trips
• Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
• Background in childhood development or youth program facilitation is highly desirable

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
