Role Description The Kids Educator is a full or part-time, on-site role located in Wexford, PA. This position is responsible for participating in engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning, physical activity, and social development for children in the club’s programs. Day-to-day tasks include leading group and individual instruction, supervising children to ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and communicating with caregivers and team members about program goals and child progress. The Kids Educator collaborates with other staff to align activities with the club’s wellness mission, supports special events and camps, and helps maintain organized, clean, and supportive learning spaces.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience working with children in group or classroom settings.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with children, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Experience in youth recreation, early childhood education, or related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment, including basic behavior management and child supervision skills.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
