Job Summary

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners. The teacher plans and delivers age-appropriate lessons while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, activity-based lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skill development.
• Assess student progress through observations and age-appropriate assessment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student portfolios.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Organize classroom resources and learning materials to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.
• Ensure student safety and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement best teaching practices and school initiatives.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications as prescribed by CBSE.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a reputed school.
