FPPK is a family-centered school in Englewood NJ which serves children 2-6 years old. We are seeking a warm and thoughtful TK/ Kindergarten Teacher who enjoys working with all children and supporting families.

It would be a plus if the candidate has some background knowledge of high- quality education practiced such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori or Bank Street developmental approach. This is a 10 month position will lots of paid time off.

Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential skills in literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and physical activity, setting the stage for lifelong learning. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will teach phonetics and collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with families, and implement innovative teaching strategies to foster a love of learning in every child.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and students interests.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports behavior management and classroom management best practices.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education to support holistic childhood development.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and curriculum updates.

Experience

• Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings or private schools.
• Strong background in childhood development theories such as Reggio and child-led practices.
• Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education is essential.
• Equally perfect for a head teacher who is starting out or a seasoned professional.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
