The Playgroup (PG) Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment for young children through age-appropriate Montessori-based activities.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and conducting lessons
- Managing daily routines such as meals, hygiene, toileting and rest
- Encouraging independence and social development
- Monitoring children's progress
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness and organisation
- Communicating with parents through official school channels
- Working closely with fellow teachers and Management to ensure the children's overall well-being and development
