We are Kome Goku LTD, a family-run company operating YO! Sushi kiosks inside Tesco stores.

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Kiosk Team Member to join our team at Tesco Extra Maryhill.

This role is for an experienced person only

Previous hands-on experience working with sushi and in a professional kitchen is essential. We are specifically looking for someone who already has practical knowledge of sushi preparation, food handling and kitchen operations.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare fresh sushi and other dishes according to our guidelines and standards
• Work confidently and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Handle and prepare food safely and hygienically
• Ensure sushi and other products are prepared and presented to a high standard
• Label and store food correctly
• Keep the kiosk and kitchen area clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards
• Work independently while also being a strong team player
• Help ensure the kiosk operates smoothly and efficiently

What we’re looking for:

• Previous professional experience preparing sushi – essential
• Previous professional kitchen experience – essential
• Good knowledge of food preparation and food safety
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards
• Reliable, responsible and well organised
• Good time management and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Experience working in a busy food or hospitality environment
