What they need
To assist in preparing meals for Congregate and Home Delivered meal participants. Assist with food preparation and bulk cooking. Assist with packaging meals, and sending or serving meals in appropriate amounts. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control and necessary records. Help to maintain sanitary procedures, kitchen and dining room set up and clean up, assist in storing stock properly, including scrubbing floors. General kitchen duties, lifting pots and pans, dishes, answering phones, etc. Assist in cleaning on a timely basis, kitchen equipment, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, shelves, stove fan, floors, etc. Cooking and holding food at proper temperatures. Trash removal from kitchen. ServSafe Certification required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
