About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen All-Rounder to join our café team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food and ingredients according to café recipes and standards
• Assist with breakfast, lunch and café-style food preparation
• Cook and plate food when required
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, eggs and other café menu items
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Store food correctly and check stock
• Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries
• Minimise food waste and maintain good portion control
• Assist other team members during busy periods
• Perform general kitchen duties as required

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen or café experience
• Previous experience as a Kitchen All-Rounder is preferred
• Good cooking and food preparation skills
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently when required
• Available to work weekends and public holidays when required
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate is an advantage

Pay: $800.00 – $1,500.00 per week
