Kitchen All-Rounder / Cook – Joey’s Swan Valley Diner

About the role:

Joey's Swan Valley Diner is looking for a confident and reliable Kitchen All-Rounder / Cook to join our team. You'll jump into a busy kitchen, work at a good pace and help consistently get great food out to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Cooking burgers and other diner menu items
• Working the grill and fryers
• Assembling burgers and meals quickly and accurately
• Food preparation
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Assisting with front counter and customer service when required
• Taking and checking customer orders
• Working as part of a small, busy team

About you

• Has previous kitchen, café, takeaway or fast-food cooking experience
• Is confident working independently in the kitchen
• Works quickly and stays organised during busy periods
• Takes pride in getting orders right
• Is reliable, punctual and has a good work ethic
• Has strong English communication skills for taking and confirming customer orders
• Is friendly and confident dealing with customers
• Has reliable transport to and from Swan Valley location
• Weekend availability is essential

Casual position with regular hours available for the right person.
