Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, provide expert advice on layout design, and utilize design software to create compelling visual representations of your concepts. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential in delivering exceptional service. Managing existing relationships and prospecting for new opportunities is a critical role of our Design and Sales team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design needs and preferences.
• Create innovative kitchen layouts that maximize space efficiency and functionality.
• Utilize design software such as 2020/Syncly to produce detailed kitchen designs and renderings.
• Provide guidance on design, materials, and finishes to enhance the overall aesthetic.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project details, and design changes.
• Visit homes and jobsites to evaluate scope and provide initial project budgets
• Manage entire projects from acquisition through completed construction
• Designing kitchen, bathrooms. Outdoor kitchens, closet, libraries, office, entertainment centers, and other rooms
• Preparing presentations and proposals for customers
• Manage a sales pipeline and portfolio including prospects and past clients
• Working closely with other designers to support one another in their sales relationships. Check orders for accuracy, provide customer service as needed, provide periodic reports as requested
• Local travel to customer sites
• Other duties as assigned
• Upsell additional products or services based on client needs and preferences.
• Assist clients in navigating the renovation process from concept to completion.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in kitchen and bath industry and sales or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software, particularly 2020/Syncly or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction, layout design principles and space planning.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working under pressure.
• A keen eye for detail with a passion for creating beautiful spaces.
• Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, and personable
• 2 years of sales/customer service or equivalent experience
• Able to manage many projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
