Role Description The Kitchen and Bath Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This role involves meeting with customers in the showroom, understanding their needs and preferences, and translating them into functional, visually appealing kitchen and bath designs. The designer will create detailed layouts and renderings, recommend cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and vanities, and ensure designs align with budget and project timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, coordinating with sales and installation teams, managing project details from initial concept through completion, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also requires providing professional product guidance, delivering consistent customer service, and supporting showroom merchandising and displays.

• Strong Customer Service skills to guide clients through product selection and project decisions with professionalism.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with customers, internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Sales skills to present design solutions, explain value, and support closing projects in a consultative manner.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, including construction, finishes, hardware, and installation considerations.
• Experience with design software (e.g., 2020, SketchUp, or similar) and basic measurement and space-planning skills.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Previous experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, or a related field; relevant certifications or design education are a plus.
• Comfort working in a showroom environment and occasionally visiting job sites in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
