Kitchens R Us is a locally owned and operated kitchen design, manufacturing, and installation business based in Mount Maunganui. We design, build, and deliver custom kitchens across the Bay of Plenty, and take pride in the quality of our product from the workshop right through to the customer's front door.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable, physically fit Delivery Driver to join our production team, delivering finished kitchen cabinetry, benchtops, and components directly to customers' homes in our Class 2 truck.

This is a hands-on role that combines driving, physical work, and light installation/assembly duties during quieter periods between deliveries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Loading the truck correctly and safely for each day's deliveries
• Driving our Class 2 truck to residential addresses, including navigating and manoeuvring into tight residential driveways
• Lifting and carrying kitchen cabinets, benchtops, and related items into customers' homes
• Ensuring products are delivered undamaged and handled with care
• Building rapport with customers during drop-offs — representing Kitchens R Us professionally
• Assisting with basic assembly of standard storage units in the workshop during downtime between deliveries
• General warehouse and loading bay duties as required

What We're Looking For

• A sufficient, confident driver — full Class 1 licence minimum, with a genuinely good driving record and safe habits behind the wheel
• Willingness and ability to obtain a Class 2 licence — we will fund and support training for the right person
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting and carrying
• Comfortable reversing/manoeuvring a truck into residential driveways
• A practical, hands-on attitude — happy to turn your hand to assembly and warehouse work when not on the road
• Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude — you'll be face-to-face with customers in their homes
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Previous experience in furniture/appliance delivery, freight, or a trade is an advantage but not essential
