Job Description

• Inspect kitchen and laundry equipment daily to ensure proper operation.
• Attend to all breakdowns immediately to avoid operational disruption.
• Support kitchen and laundry teams during peak operation hours.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain PMP records and service logs for audit purposes.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on kitchen and laundry machinery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external technicians when required.
• Ensure safe isolation and testing before and after repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Use appropriate PPE during maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Request spare parts through proper channels.
• Maintain accountability for tools and spares.
• Report major defects and requirements to the Engineering Supervisor to the Chief Engineer.
