Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring food preparation, presentation, and service meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing and ensure accurate transactions.
• Upsell menu items to guests, promoting specials and enhancing overall sales.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Buss tables as needed to maintain a clean dining environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to build positive guest relations through friendly interaction and service excellence.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
