Kitchen Assistant - Afternoon

Secret Recipe is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to support our production team during busy afternoon shifts. This role is 3 afternoons per week plus Saturday, assisting chefs with preparation, packing, cleaning and general kitchen duties. You will work in a fast‑paced environment where reliability, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

Applicants must already be living in Ireland and legally able to work here. We do not support work‑visa applications. Previous kitchen or food‑production experience is preferred, along with clear spoken English and a practical understanding of HACCP. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Interviews will take place in the coming days.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting chefs with food preparation and portioning
• Packing products to specification
• Maintaining a clean, organised workspace
• Supporting daily cleaning and sanitising routines
• Following HACCP guidelines and safe‑food practices
• Completing tasks efficiently to meet production targets

Pay: €14.15 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
