About the role
CHWAN Group has 3 outles in Chijmes, Marina Bay and Sentosa. We are looking for a hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our opening team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily food preparation and mise en place
- Cutting, chopping and preparing ingredients
- Organising and maintaining the kitchen and workstations
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
- Assist chefs with basic cooking and simple stove work
- Support stock arrangement and daily kitchen operations
- Follow food hygiene and safety standards
About you
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred
- Hardworking, responsible and willing to learn
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
