kitchen assistant

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning ingredients)

• Support cooking tasks such as stirring, plating, and simple cooking

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and ensure proper storage

• Receive and store deliveries, checking stock levels and freshness of ingredients

• Ensure kitchen complies with food safety and hygiene standards

• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain a tidy work environment

• Assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• S'pore Citizen or Perm Resident only

• Prior kitchen or F&B experience preferred but not required — training will be provided

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage (or willingness to obtain one)

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods

• Willing to work shifts as assigned within the 5-day work week

• Good teamwork and communication skills
