Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Kitchen Assistant to join our sister branch of Naira Grill Wembley, at our new Afro-Caribbean inspired British Pub in Norwich.

We’re looking for a hard-working, reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our busy Afro-Caribbean restaurant.

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting chefs with food preparation
• Washing, peeling and chopping ingredients
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
• Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
• Helping with stock rotation and storage
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Works well under pressure
• Has a positive attitude and good team spirit
• Takes pride in cleanliness and organisation
• Has an interest in Afro-Caribbean food and cooking
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided
• Willing to relocate to Norwich

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
