Kitchen Assistant

About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our kitchen team with daily food preparation and kitchen operations, helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food and ingredient preparation
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during service
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized
• Assist with receiving and storing ingredients
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Help maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
• Perform other kitchen duties as required

About you

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen or food-service experience required
• Previous Kitchen Assistant experience is an advantage
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
