Kitchen Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service. Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Support the catering team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organising supplies for cooking
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Help with the organisation and storage of ingredients and supplies in line with health regulations
• Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner when required
• Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members

Experience

• Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety protocols, and general kitchen practices is advantageous
• Experience in food presentation or serving can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• A keen interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment is essential
