Kitchen Assistant – Dunley Hall

We are looking for a reliable, positive and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to become part of our welcoming kitchen team.

Hours

We can offer either:

• Full-time – 44 hours per week
• Or two part-time positions – approximately 22 hours per week each

Shifts are 7:00am – 6:00pm.

You will work on a rota and must be available to work every other weekend.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play an important part in helping our kitchen run smoothly each day. Duties will include:

• Pot washing and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Preparing sandwiches, snacks and other simple food items
• Assisting the Cook with food preparation
• Helping to serve and clear away meals
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment and work areas
• Putting away deliveries and helping organise stock
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
• General kitchen duties as required

Previous kitchen, catering or care home experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
