We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure safety standards are maintained, and assist in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including early morning start to bake of bagels and malasadas and prep for the breakfast shift. From 6-11am we run the breakfast line and clean up finishes at 11:15
• Operate basic food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance
• Handle food safely by adhering to food safety management standards and proper food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with safety standards in production

Experience

• Previous experience in a food industry setting, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and portioning is advantageous
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and safe handling practices in a professional kitchen environment

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
