Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly to ensure timely service
• Support chefs and kitchen staff in food prep, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to reduce waste and ensure freshness
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold a safe working environment
• Support the team in catering events or large-scale meal preparations as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic culinary experience or familiarity with meal preparation tasks preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as required

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 24.0 per week
