Responsibilities

Assist with food and meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.
Support chefs and cooks in cooking processes, including basic cooking tasks and plating dishes for service.
Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper handling of ingredients and sanitation practices.
Serve meals efficiently during service times, ensuring timely delivery to guests or customers.
Assist in setting up the kitchen for daily operations, including stocking supplies and preparing ingredients ahead of time.

Skills

Strong interest or experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes.
Experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
