Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen assistant required to work in our very bust restaurant at Ellerker Lodge Garden Centre.

Some experience is preferred with basic food preparation and baking skills, however full training will be given.

You will assist the chef in preparing for meals, some baking, plating up meals, keeping the kitchen work areas clean and tidy and general kitchen duties.

This is a part-time permanent position which includes day time hours and working alternate weekends which also means you will get alternate weekends off.

Wk 1 - Monday, Saturday and Sunday

Wk 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Friday

8.30 am - 4.30pm/5pm

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Your own transport would be useful due to the rural location of the garden centre and a current food hygiene certificate is required but this can be done if you don’t currently have one.

Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays is also required.
