Must have the means to cover shifts on occasions where needed, can be from 5am.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards throughout the workspace
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, peeling, and portioning as directed
• Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
• Serve meals to guests or customers in a courteous and efficient manner
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support the team during busy service times by providing reliable assistance wherever needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks including serving, cleaning, and ingredient prep
• Prior experience in meal or food preparation, culinary settings or supporting roles is advantageous

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
