Kitchen Assistant

PT Golden Victory Manufactures, we are part of a big company; Stella International Group, based in China (https://www.stella.com.hk/).

Currently, we are in the process of establishing a new factory in Pemalang Regency, Central Java, which is engaged in the sports shoe industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily food ingredients, including washing, chopping, cutting, marinating, and other food preparation activities.
• Assist in cooking and preparing meals according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and related teams to ensure smooth daily meal preparation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, cooking equipment, utensils, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Monitor food storage temperature, shelf life, and food rotation using proper procedures to prevent spoilage and cross-contamination.
• Assist with daily stock checks, receiving food ingredients, and verifying stock quality and quantity.
• Minimize food waste and follow standard portioning procedures to support cost control.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA/SMK), or Diploma (D3).

• Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen, restaurant, catering, canteen, or F&B operations.

• Previous experience in a restaurant or industrial canteen is preferred.

• Willing to work on shifts.

• Basic understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.

• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.

• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
