Duties

• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items
• Support kitchen staff in food safety and hygiene practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Prepare ingredients and supplies needed for cooking and catering events
• Help with serving meals efficiently and courteously to guests or customers
• Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized
• Support the setup and cleanup of kitchen areas before and after service shifts
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage

Qualifications

• Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
• Strong attention to detail when handling food and maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Experience with meal preparation, food safety practices, or culinary tasks is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
