Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary
Williamsburg Pizza is looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation and daily kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced restaurant and takes pride in keeping food-prep areas clean, organized, and ready for service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient setup.
• Prepare vegetables, toppings, sauces, and other kitchen items.
• Keep prep stations stocked throughout service.
• Help cooks with routine kitchen tasks.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food-safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Store ingredients properly and rotate products as needed.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanup when required.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of food preparation and sanitation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working on your feet during busy shifts.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
