Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for Kitchen Assistant who is capable of independent, efficient working in a fast paced environment.

The role of Kitchen Assistant is crucial to our team to help maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Applicants must have previous experience. As this role involves food handling a minimum of Level 1 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate is required.

Candidates who do not meet this criteria will not be considered.

Tasks will be varied, but will include the following:

· Pot washing

· Cleaning

· Basic food preparation

· Recording all daily deliveries

· Maintaining all records relating to fridge temperatures and cleaning schedules

· Unpacking and storage of deliveries in designated areas.

You would also assist with sealing and sleeving our frozen food products.

The successful candidate will need strong physical stamina as the role requires standing for long periods of time and manual handling tasks including lifting and carrying.

Working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 0900am to 1500pm (18 hours)

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
