Kitchen Assistant

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Working pattern: 4 days per week, including alternative weekends

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Cook to help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that meals are prepared and served to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Cook with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Preparing sandwich fillings and other food ingredients
• Helping with food preparation, including peeling and preparing potatoes
• Washing pots, pans, dishes and kitchen equipment
• Assisting with serving meals
• Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, tidy and hygienic
• Following a strict cleaning schedule and ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times

Pay: £12.71 per hour
