Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
• Support kitchen staff in food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning as directed
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Serve food to guests or customers in a courteous and timely manner
• Help with catering setups for events or special functions as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with food safety standards

Skills

• Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Strong cooking skills with a good understanding of meal and food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
• Basic culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for cooking and learning new skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various kitchen tasks as required

Pay: £15.85 per hour
