Kitchen Assistant

Job Requirement :

1. Assisting the kitchen team in food preparation, such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients

2. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by cleaning work surfaces, utensils, and equipment

3. Ensuring the proper storage and handling of food items to maintain food safety and quality

4. Supporting the kitchen team in basic cooking tasks as directed by the Chef

5. Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards

6. Following all relevant health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

7. Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements

· Certificate in Food Hygiene Audit

· At least 2 years of cooking and supervising experience in a commercial / healthcare setting

· Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from the kitchen management

· A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
