The Narrowboat is a hidden gem situated directly on Regents Canal. With a bright and open layout spread over two floors, our pub is the heart of the community and the place to be for tourists. Boasting glass sliding doors on both floors, the Narrowboat is light and airy and perfect for those summer days & evenings, especially with our two balconies overlooking the canal. Plus you can step right onto the canal from our downstairs so it really is the perfect summer pub. But with our two fireplaces and cosy ground floor, it's also the perfect winter pub to enjoy evenings in!
A mere 10-minute walk down the canal from Angel tube station will land you at our family + dog-friendly pub! We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic crew members to come and join our wonderful team, to bring their own personalities to our crew and who are passionate about making the Narrowboat the pub to be.

What we look for in a Kitchen Assistant;

We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:

• Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
• Have high standards and a great work ethic
• You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
