Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all work areas
• Help with serving meals to customers or guests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure food safety standards are consistently met, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
• Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning items, or assembling components for dishes
• Support catering events by setting up food stations and assisting with service logistics
• Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Experience

• Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen operations is preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced food service setting will be advantageous
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling standards is beneficial
• Prior kitchen experience involving food preparation or serving roles will help you succeed in this position

Pay: £12.72-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 – 30.0 per week
