Kitchen Assistant Wanted – Kibworth Court Care Home, Leicester

Are you passionate about cooking and take pride in preparing nutritious and delicious meals? Kibworth Court Care Home is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team and cater to our 45-resident care home in Leicester.

About the Role:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals to suit residents' dietary needs, including modified textures and allergen-friendly options.
• Ensure all meals are nutritious, well-presented, and meet residents' individual preferences.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, following all care diet guidelines and allergens regulations.
• Work efficiently to serve meals on time, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance the dining experience for our residents.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for cooking and an understanding of catering for dietary requirements in a care setting.
• Experience in a similar role within a care home, school, or healthcare setting (preferred but not essential).
• Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A caring and patient attitude to support the well-being of our residents.
