Kitchen Assistant

Busy, centrally located restaurant seeking highly motivated individuals wanting to learn the restaurant business or earn supplemental income.

Core Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and measure vegetables, fruits, and meats under a chef's direction.
• Sanitation and Cleaning: Wash dishes, sanitize cooking surfaces, sweep floors, and empty garbage bins.
• Inventory & Stocking: Unpack deliveries, organize storage rooms, rotate food stock, and track expiration dates.
• Service Support: Assemble simple menu items, plate dishes, and restock lines during busy rushes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 28.0 per week
