Aangan Indian Restaurant – Willington, Derby

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our busy restaurant team.

This is a varied support role, helping our chefs and kitchen team keep the service running smoothly. The role includes helping with food pick-up, packing takeaway orders and assisting the kitchen team with general duties.

Main Responsibilities

• Helping with food pick-up during service
• Collecting and organising finished dishes from the kitchen
• Packing and checking takeaway and delivery orders
• Making sure the correct dishes go to the correct orders/tables
• Assisting chefs and kitchen staff where required
• Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
• General kitchen support during busy periods
• Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff

We are looking for someone who is reliable, well-organised, hardworking, has good attention to detail and can work efficiently during busy restaurant service.

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided to the right person.

Accommodation may be available if required.

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
