Duties

• Assist with food and meal preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, and storage spaces
• Follow food safety guidelines rigorously to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times
• Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and assisting with basic cooking tasks under supervision
• Help with serving food to guests or customers in a timely and professional manner
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently during busy periods
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and uphold high standards of quality and safety

Skills

• Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food service environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Basic culinary skills such as meal preparation, cooking assistance, and food handling
• Familiarity with serving protocols and customer service principles in a food setting
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
