Job Summary

Brasserie Blanc is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organized Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations and assist with food preparation, ingredient organization, and cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate should be attentive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with daily food preparation
• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients as needed
• Prepare and organize ingredients for kitchen service
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and preparation areas
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Store and label food ingredients properly
• Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
• Assist with inventory checks and receiving kitchen supplies
• Support kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards

Requirements

• Previous Kitchen Assistant, Prep Cook, or restaurant experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
