Kitchen Assistant

A)    Job Responsibilities

· Assist in daily operations of front and kitchen.

· Handle food preparation according to Company standard operating procedures (SOP) and assist the Head Chef.

· Ensure strict adherence to food safety, food sanitation and SFA food hygiene practices.

· Ensure personal hygiene, general cleanliness, upkeep of restaurant and kitchen sanitation.

· Assist in collecting food supplies, document stock requisitions and report stock inventory to Superior.

· Ensure consistent in quality of food and beverages.

· Assist in customer service and service duties.

· Assist in dishwashing and clearing of tables.

· Store products properly in the fridge with a first-in-first-out system and avoid placing     foodstuff, etc on the floor.

· Check and report equipment issues to Superior.

· Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines.

· Any other duties as and when assigned by the management.
