We are looking for a part time Kitchen Assistant to work weekends who is passionate about cooking with local high quality ingredients, able to work in a team and produce high quality consistent meals in line with specifications.

Duties:

• Working independantly & as a team to produce high quality meals to specification
• Following all food hygiene, safety and allergen processes
• Maintaining your section keeping it clean & stocked up
• Completing opening & closing checks & tasks
• Carrying out cleaning duties & dishwashing
• Checking and putting away deliveries
• Preparation

Location

This role would be based at the venue, which is located between Cullompton and Willand in Devon.

Working hours

The Steamer is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm on Saturdays and 9am - 4pm on Sundays. As the business grows more evening openings are planned and opening hours will flex in line with the business needs. It is important to note that this role will includes weekend working. Evening availability would be beneficial.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
