Kitchen Assistant

Overview

Join the kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant, helping prepare and serve meals in a clean, organised environment. You’ll support the smooth running of daily kitchen operations and contribute to a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Keeping the pot was Area clean and tidy, washing up used crockery and cooking items
• Assist with food and meal preparation, including basic cooking tasks.
• Help with serving meals and supporting catering activities.
• Keep kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures during preparation and service.

Skills

• Kitchen experience, restaurant experience or culinary experience is useful, but not essential.
• An interest in cooking, food preparation and catering.
• A reliable, organised approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Care and attention when handling food and maintaining food safety standards.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week

Work Location: In person
