We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant / General Assistant to join our busy and friendly team at Kokoro in London.

This is a varied role that involves supporting both our kitchen and front of house teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Duties

• Assisting chefs with daily food preparation.
• Helping manage stock and kitchen supplies.
• Receiving and putting away deliveries.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
• Following food hygiene and safety procedures.

Front of House Duties

• Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Taking customer orders and processing payments.
• Serving food and assisting customers when required.
• Keeping the restaurant clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Supporting the team during busy service periods.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Previous hospitality or catering experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
